You've known my name and where I live. Now, I'd like to tell you why I am in this business. Simple reasons. First, because I am extremely good at translating and editing. My language skills are above average, and I do love tidy, efficient, grammatically correct, yet stylistic texts. Accreditation? Well I have to have one yet, I do admit. It is, however, a matter of time; not that time for me learn more about how to translate; rather time I can spare for such thing as preparing application and attending exam. Time is so expensive, you know, nowadays.
Second, I do it for money. Oopps, did I see your eyebrows rise? Hey, if I or whoever do things for money, it means I and they are professional! I know how to do it properly, I am aware of such thing as quality, customer satisfaction, responsibility all those good things coming out of professionalism.
